Camp Lowden History

The Camp Lowden History Web site is dedicated to all those who give truth to the refrain, "...the staff of Scout Camp Lowden is the best on any line." It is also dedicated to the Scouts and Scouters...past and present...who give the staff a reason to be there.

This Web site is geared specifically to the history of the Camp Lowden Boy Scout Camp, located south of Oregon, Illinois. Content will be added as time goes on. If you have any suggestions for things that you would like to see, or if you have any information, corrections, stories, memories, etc., that you would like to share, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Camp Lowden History Book

I had planned to publish an updated edition of the camp history book and had begun preparations for same as far back as 2017. However I have gone through two relocations as well as other personal matters including a job change, so I was never able to complete it. It is still my intention to do so! If you have information to include, please let me know!
