The initial Camp Lowden patches (1940-1946 timeframe) each had a theme that corresponded to events happening
at camp during that year (for example, Governor Lowden passed away in 1943 so that year was the "Lowden
Memorial Year.") In these early years the patches were made of felt, but tended to disintegrate after a few
washings. These patches are very rare today. If you find some, take care of them!
